The two-storey restaurant, in Rowes Arcade, on Queen Street Mall, will be the largest Jamie's Italian in Australia, according to company representative and Pacific Restaurant Group managing director Adam Heathcote.
"Jamie's Italian in Brisbane is going to be an eye-opener," he said in a statement.
" It's set to be the largest Jamie's Italian in Australia accommodating up to 240 guests across two levels including a stunning bar area seating up to 80 people.
"The basement level will see the original sandstone walls retained with the fantastic ceiling elevation on the ground floor providing plenty of room to showcase some unique chandeliers."
The restaurant will employ more than 120 chefs, wait staff and hosts, and is the fifth Jamie's Italian outlet for the country.
