Italian restaurant Carluccio's will come to Bracknell

Italian restaurant Carluccio's will be offering delectable pasta dishes in Bracknell after it announced a branch would open in the new town centre.

The deli and caf é chain has signed up for a 3,606 square foot unit on a 20 year lease opposite what will be the new Marks & Spencer store in the north of the town centre.

The news follows the recent announcement that Zizzi will be taking a 3,300 sq ft building on a 15 year lease and Nando's is taking a 6,000 sq ft unit on a 20 year lease.

Simon Kossoff, Carluccio's CEO, said: "The redevelopment of Bracknell town centre provides a fantastic opportunity for Carluccio's and we are delighted to have secured such a great location." Nando's and Zizi coming to new Bracknell

The first Carluccio's restaurant was opened in London in 1999 by acclaimed chef, Antonio Carluccio.

Helen Barnett, marketing manager at Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, says: "Our intention to provide an array of different restaurants to suit a wide range of tastes and budgets is fast becoming a reality.

"The news about Carluccio's follows hot on the heels of both Nando's and Zizzi also confirming that they will be opening in the new town centre.

"The combination of these fabulous eateries and Cineworld is sure to create a town centre that the local community will want to visit in the evenings."

Councillor Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration, said: "It's great news Carluccio's is coming to Bracknell.

"We've always said that we wanted the new town centre to provide an evening economy and the line-up of restaurants and a new cinema shows the new town centre will be more than just shops, it will provide some great entertainment for our residents too." Recently Published
