TV chef Marco Pierre White has unveiled plans to open an 'Italian-American' restaurant in Manchester.
The eatery would be set in a the proposed four-star Indigo Hotel of the site of the old City Buildings on Corporation Street near to Victoria Station.
A new 13-storey circular tower will be built next to the grade-II listed building - one of the country's first commercial office blocks when it opened in 1834.
Hell's Kitchen star White's restaurant promises 'good, quality food at affordable prices' from the godfather of modern cookery', according to Indigo's website.
White's was briefly in charge of the River Restaurant in the Lowry Hotel, Manchester city centre, after it opened in 2001.
Developers Sanguine Hospitality are planning 187 'boutique' rooms - costing £90 per night - spread across the new tower and the refurbished City Buildings, which is currently derelict.

Sanguine have launched an appeal for investors for the delayed venture - which was originally unveiled nearly three years ago.
Mike Hitchmough, of 3DReid architects who have drawn up the new site, said the new tower's circular design was inspired by hot air balloons.
The site is close to where James Sadler launched Manchester's first hot air balloon in 1780, as commemorated in the name of nearby Balloon Street.
If all goes according to plan the hotel and restaurant hopes to open its doors at the end of 2015. Council planners are yet to give the go-ahead to the scheme.
Indigo is part of Intercontinental Hotels Group, which runs 4,600 in over a 100 countries around the world.
Nick Taplin from Sanguine Hospitality said: "Outside of London,
Manchester is the most buoyant hotel market in the UK, with both a strong business and leisure market. This is a fantastic opportunity to invest in a soon-to-be iconic hotel and restaurant in the heart of Manchester.
"The two brands, Hotel Indigo and Marco Pierre White are perfect for a location of this prestige and will be an invaluable addition to the Manchester hotel market."
